Details
When a component in an assembly is replaced with a component that is not a version of the original component, an associative Measurement [Body] feature that includes the replaced component body and other components(s) is indicated as up to date.
Shouldn't the user be made aware that the associative Measurement [Body] feature no longer include the original number of bodies selected?
Solution
Measurement [Body] feature is indicated as OK and associativity is still maintained to all the bodies (components) that were not replaced.
User needs to edit the Body Measurement feature and add the replacement component.
The Measurement command uses Selection Intent(SI), set to "Single Body", so the SI rule can be maintained when Measurement [Body] feature referenced geometry gets changed. Since with SI, user needs to do fully load part when the component replacement is done.
